Sourced: Organically grown Single Origin bean.This naturally processed coffee brings a diverse flavor profile to your pallet and makes a rich full bodied cup. Soft fruit tones, with hints of citrus, medium roasted just enough to bring out the elements of chocolate and a touch of sweetness. We roasted these beans on the darker side of medium to bring down the acidity and bring forward the sweeter elements.
A note on sourcing
This coffee is sourced from certified organic family owned farms organized around the Oromia Coffee Farmers Cooperative (OCFCU), an umbrella organization established 1999 to support a sustainable coffee supply from cooperatives in the Oromia region of Ethiopia. Premiums from coffee exports are returned directly to farmers, and also fund organic farming programs, mill equipment purchases, and food security programs. OCFCU has established a central cupping lab to support quality control and a members’ bank that provides pre-harvest financing.
